It Took Until April 12th…

…For the last vestige of our craptastic winter to leave my yard.

That’s what was left at the top of my driveway yesterday, which looked like this on January 27th.

Goodbye and good riddance.  But so far spring has been basically suckerific.  Give me sunshine and 65 degrees.  Please.

    You’d better check your anemometer!

It’s pretty amazing to drive by some houses and see piles of snow still lingering. There’s a house on the end of my street that still has 2 big snow piles from the snow they cleared from their roof. But the snow is all gone from our strip mall’s parking lots. I just got soaked getting into work just now. Although I am a snow lover, I’m glad it’s just raining today. Bill, I love your comment and the fact you can spell ane, ane, anemometer. (I, too, saw Gerry struggle with that word!)

“craptastic”, “suckerific”, “Amomeneter”, I just added all of them to my spell checker. I would like to see “Brad” use some of these descriptive terms on his weather reports. He likes to keep it real.

I believe spring will be here very soon, I mean you did ask nicely Gerry. We all deserve an extended spring, just like the winter we had, fairs, fair.

65 degrees!! Ya want me to freeze? Wait, don’t answer that.

    Hi Gerry,
You seem to have had a long winter this year, but with the look of the snow that is left it is slowing coming to an end. From what I have been reading it has been a very bad year for snow over there. I have seen some blogs with some beautiful photo’s of the first flowers of spring, with still some ice around them, but hang in there the warmer weather is coming. 🙂

I expect the last of the snow to leave our yard tommorrow or the next day. We have only one strip of snow left and it’s less than a foot high now.

    Summer’s coming!!!!!!!!!!!!
