NBC nostalgia. (sigh)
Vodpod videos no longer available.
Love it! 🙂 Are you walking yet?
Me, too. Don’t have to fight bad weather, can watch TV, talk on the phone, even snack if you’re careful and don’t spill! Works for me!
Given the quality of what’s on in prime time, except the Red Sox, and this being a presidential year, I have been watching the first season of The West Wing and so far, it has dealt with gays in the military, Syria, Iraq, campaign finance abuses, a controversial Supreme Court nominee and an intelligent debate on the redundancy of hate crimes. And there were 22 hours in the season.
This was great — I love how Martin Sheen almost decked Charlie (who now looks like he’d actually be a semi-successful bodyguard) while putting on his jacket at the end.
Double sigh. West Wing, Lou Grant, heck, even Mary Tyler Moore. Now I really feel like one of those old-timers. Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio, the nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
People watched NBC then. (sniff)
I loved that show! Really miss it. That was fun to watch.
