A Little Something for the Next Sweeps?

“Good evening, and say hello to my little friend.  Don’t touch that remote or my co-anchor gets it.  Am I clear?”

Yes, a pro-Gadhafy news anchor in Libya vowed to sacrifice himself for his leader, using an AK-47 as evidence.

My current weapon of choice on the set is a Pilot G-2 07 (blue ink).

I suppose I could poke my eye out with it.  But I don’t want to.  Not even for my fearless leader.

About Gerry

I've been covering Connecticut news and sports since 1974. I know, I don't look that old.

i always preferred the red felt tips.

  2. Kinda gives new meaning to an anchorman saying, ” I’m mad as hell… ” He even looks like Howard Beale. And my sources tell me that Al Terzi did something like this when Rowland was in power and about to go down. But at least Al kept his weapon concealed. I think Janet Peckinpaugh put her foot down and refused to go on with him if he started waving the rifle around.

I’m sure there wasn’t a waiting period for the back ground check on that pen either.
