Four Guys and a Funeral

Got together with my oldest friends Tuesday.

Chuck, Dana, Jim and I met for lunch to do some catching up, and to reminisce about another old friend we were about to see off.

David’s life ended on Friday.  Considering his trials and tribulations, his death may have been premature at face value, but not in reality.  The weather at the graveside service reflected David’s changeable moods, from sunny to stormy.

But at funerals, we remember the sunshine.  And we appreciate our friends and acquaintances who are still standing.

We made plans to get together again.  Sooner than later.

    Hi Gerry,
Terrible sorry to hear about your friend. It is always hard when we lose someone that is close to us, but they will always live on in our memories.
