But it is the four seasons, as seen from Tallwood C.C. in Hebron. And make no mistake, I am looking forward to the other three.
Hi Gerry, today is one of the coldest so far in Toronto. Just seeing some beautiful shots of what I consider to be the more favorable seasons is a good thing – especially now.
Redge, we’re both below zero tonight. Think warm.
Very, very nice.
Thank, thank you.
Vivaldi? Valli? Oh … I get it!
If only my elderly parents had e-mail, I would send them a link to this page to show them why I don’t want to move to Florida (where they live).
Thanks for this lovely reminder of why I like living in this part of the world.
I don’t want to move to Florida either. While I wish the temp was a little more reasonable right now, I still prefer the four seasons.
As much as I love winter, there’s nothing better than fall. Great pics.
Thanks Matt. And I know how much you love winter!
One of my husband’s favorite courses because of how beautiful he says it looks during the fall, as evidenced by your photo. I am banned from Tallwood since the time I first gave golf a try on a business trip to Palm Springs sponsored by my husband’s employer. It is not a good idea to swear like a sailor on a golf course amongst a spouse’s co-workers. Just sayin’.
AA, this isn’t the course itself, but the view to the right as you come down the long driveway to the clubhouse.
And if your spouse’s co-workers can’t deal with your swearing like a sailor on the golf course…well…!*%# them!
Oops – like I said, I’ve been banned. How would I have known. And what you said!
Great photos, Gerry. A real breath of fresh air (that won’t take my lungs out due to the temperature!).
Just started reading your blog, and I’ll be here for the long haul. Thanks for taking the time to write it!
Thank you Stacey, and welcome!
Did you plan these shots just so you might be able to show them one day? Great pictures and perfect timing. I especially like seeing the color and texture of the grass from spring, summer, fall. Lush green, brownish, green with purple wild flowers. Nice.
I didn’t, Linda. But after I realized I took identical pictures in 2 seasons, I figured I might as well get the other two. Glad you like them.
Gerry sometimes I think you missed your calling, you’re quite the photog. It’s why we love New England it’s cold, but beautiful and don’t we love all 4 seasons. Looking at those shots we really are lucky.
Thanks Mary. I think I have a pretty good eye, but I’m really just an amateur with a point-and-shoot.
Ah, Gerry, if only you could carry your extraordinary point-and-shoot ability to the tee!
If only, indeed.
Great photo’s of the seasons. I love the Autumn photo, beautiful colors.
Thanks Maggie. Hope all is well with you in Brisbane!
These pictures are wonderful. Thank you for reminding us how awesome—exciting, even—it is to live in New England.
Thanks Joanne, and welcome to the conversation!
