Have a Brawl!

A news anchor and a producer duked it out at a station in Charlotte this week.

An anchor and a producer?  NO!!!  I can’t even begin to fathom how that could happen.  (Nose growing.  Quickly.)

The anchor ended up in the hospital.  So this post is dedicated to all the producers over the years who’ve wanted to…you know.

Line forms to the right.

About Gerry

I've been covering Connecticut news and sports since 1974. I know, I don't look that old.

I see a new reality TV show in your future, Gerry.

…And speaking of that high wind warning, Brianna, where’s that blow hard producer of ours?

  3. Mary says:

Sounds like there is some pent up frustration. Remember Gerry, I said you ALWAYS look happy at work…… Maybe a vacation is needed, for more reasons than the weather. Happy shoveling 🙂

    Can you say “Rancorman?”

  5. Gerry's Mentor says:

Gosh, this brings back such fond memories.

Realizing that words are sharper than any sword, they resort to a physical altercation to resolve their differences. The message: The way we think, our values, our principles, are only as strong as our ability to physically defend them.

I think these guys need to stick to reporting the news instead of making it. If only to protect the Honor and Integrity of the station.

Time to get out of the sandbox.

It’s only a matter of time before the Brooks vs. Nesti cage match videos from the nineties surface.

  9. Don says:

I guess it’s no surprise that I thought of you the second I read about this “incident.”

Just for the record, I have never thought about fighting you inside a TV station!

    Too many witnesses and cameras.

    Is it Sweeps Week?
