Struttin’ for the C’s

Last week, we did a story on Tyler McGill, a Connecticut College grad who’s a big Boston Celtics fan.
He walked from Boston to New York to win a bet with his buddies for tickets to games 3,4, and 5 of the NBA finals.
As I write this, the Celtics are getting their asses kicked, but Tyler’s got courtside seats.
He tells ESPN’s Jay Crawford how he did it.
Vodpod videos no longer available.

See, I’m not sure why my impulse was to “fact-check” this, but it turns out that if you try and use Google Maps’ walking directions to get from Boston to New York, the shortest distance actually involves swimming across Long Island Sound.
