I Enjoy Being A Girl

OK, I know the title is probably sexist, but…

It's all in the application, boys.

It's all in the application, boys.

Since we moved into the new building, my guilty pleasure has become putting on my makeup.  And it has nothing to do with the makeup or its application.

It’s where I put it on.

In the old building, it was the heavily trafficked men’s room, which, to be charitable, was a dump.

Now, we have two makeup rooms.  Spotless, well lit, and they even have sinks.  But most of all, they’re quiet.

I go in, shut the door, and it’s just me.  Five minutes of quality “me time.”

I think I’ll have a cup of tea.

About Gerry

I've been covering Connecticut news and sports since 1974. I know, I don't look that old.

Don’t ever critiize the producers for the story branding?

I’m so proud…….Ma must be pleased that she now has the daughter she never had and hoped for….it only took her 80 years to get there.
